Dallas Dean Hart

Dallas Dean Hart, 70, of Topeka passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 surrounded by family. He was born in Pawnee City, NE on November 12, 1942 to Omer and Flossie (Ackerman) Hart. In his childhood he lived in several Kansas communities before the family settled in Topeka. He attended Topeka HS until the 10th grade later getting his GED for which he was proud to have achieved. Dallas liked having a garden, fishing, having a beer with friends and going to garage sales. Dallas had worked for Railway Ice Co. then later working for various construction companies including Hamms, Quality and Hermans Construction. He was married to Ann (Frye) Hladky. They later divorced. Dallas was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. Dallas is survived by his children Heleen (Corky) Milroy, Hoyt and Garold (Melissa) Hart, Kansas; grandchildren Thomas Johnstone, Salina, Travis Johnstone, Hoyt and Richard Hart, Kansas; great-granddaughter MaKenzie Johnstone, Hoyt who was born on his 70th birthday; brothers Deloss (Shirley) Hart, Paul (Donna) Hart of Kingman, AZ and Robert (Denise) Hart, Topeka and a sister Beth (Hart) Capoun, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Lets Help. A Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday August 20th from 5-7 PM, he will lie in state from 1-7 PM.
