Terrence "Terry" Dean Adams

Terrence “Terry” Adams, 58, of Topeka passed away at his home on June 27, 2013. He was born February 16, 1955 in Honolulu, Hawaii the son of Billie Dean and Vada P. Adams. Terry grew up all over the United States while his dad served in the US Air Force. He graduated from Rutherford High School in Panama City, Florida in 1973. He had lived in the Topeka area the last 30 years. He was a lab Tech at DuPont, and warehouse manager for PTMW and Kriz Davis Co.
Terry loved animals, especially schnauzer’s, his last job was at Petland for the past year. He was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Vada Adams of Topeka; his sister, Sherry Smith of Topeka; three nephews, Cory and wife Jessica, Erik and Adam and a niece Katie; his little schnauzer, Rex; Uncle, Eldon Adams and Aunt Ibbie of Ozawkie, Aunt Janet Troluemke of Aurora, CO, Aunt Norma Reed and Uncle Duane of Topeka, Aunt Donna Cummings of Topeka, Aunt Sandra Newell and Uncle Charles of Lincoln, KS, Uncle Danny Adams and Aunt Donna of Meriden and Uncle Donald Brown of Meadview, AZ. He is preceded in death by an aunt, Merettia Joan Brown.
Funeral services will be held at Davidson Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 2nd at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at the Meriden Cemetery. Mr. Adams will lie in state from 1-9 on Monday where the family will receive friends from 7-8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Shawnee Co. Helping Hands Humane Society.
