Mary Louise Dewey

Mary Louise Dewey, 34, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013. She was born November 8, 1978 in Topeka the daughter of Michael T. and Mary E. (McCarter) Dewey. Growing up she attended Topeka West High School and Washburn University. Mary was self-employed. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother; and a sister-in-law, Diana G. Dewey.
Survivors include her beloved rat terrier, Munki; her father, Michael T. (Roma) Dewey of Ponca City, OK; sisters, Michelle (John) Burdett of Topeka, Marsha Dewey of Topeka, Maria (David Alegria) Dewey of Topeka, Marcy (Curtis) Gile of Platte City, MO; brothers, Mark (Lesa) Dewey of Ivins, Utah, Marshall (Sandra) Dewey of Hamilton, MO, Michael Dewey of Topeka, Matthew (Erin) Dewey of Rosemount, MN, Myles Dewey of Topeka and Morgan (Terri) Dewey of Gardner, KS. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, May 11th at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 3611 SW Jewell, Topeka KS 66611. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mary will lie in state from 3-9 pm on Friday at Davidson Funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday.
