Mildred Mae Moore

Mildred Mae Moore, age 91, of Auburn, KS passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Homestead of Auburn Care Home. She was born September 20, 1921 in Topeka the daughter of Emil and Mary Mathies Senne. She was a previous member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Topeka. Mildred married Delbert Ross, they later divorced. She married Clarence Moore. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Ross on September 1, 2004; a brother, Elmer Senne and a sister, Lillian Smith. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Appenfeller and her husband Dale of Maple Hill; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Her angels and extended family include the staff of Homestead of Auburn and Grace Hospice.

Graveside services will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Penwell Gable Memorial Park Cemetery. She will lie in state Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
