Jo Ann Cumpton

Jo Ann Cumpton, age 75, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Topeka. Jo Ann was born in Mexia, TX, the daughter of Lee and Marie (Oliver) Wadle.
Her specialty was as a homemaker; however she also owned a restaurant and antique store in Perry and K-9 Security, worked at Wal-Mart, the Shawnee County Sherriff's Department, and Jostens.
She is survived by her husband Bob Cumpton, children; Jim (Sabrina) Cumpton, Robert Cumpton, Susie (Larry) Hess, and Kim Matlock, Tracy Cumpton, Deb (Bill) Arnold, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by sons Joe Kovar and Randy Kovar, and sister Lasonda Reed.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Perry, Kansas.
