James Bouton, Jr, 51, Topeka passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. He was born June 6, 1961 in Topeka the son of James L. Bouton , Sr. and Saundra L. (Braun) Bouton. He attended Grant Elementary, Curtis Junior High and Topeka High Schools. Jimmy had worked at Walmart in North Topeka and for American Phoenix Company at Goodyear. He liked to work on friends and family's cars, spend time fishing, and visiting with people and lending a helping hand.
Jim was married to Judy Ray, they later divorced. He married Kelli McClellan in 1992 at Topeka. Jimmy and Kelli just celebrated 21 years of marriage.
Survivors include his wife Kelli of the home; children, Erika Bouton, Michael James Bouton, Phillip McClellan, Melissa Dawn Bouton, Steven Joseph Bouton and Travis James Bouton all of Topeka; eight grandchildren, who he loved very much; and his brothers, Jerry Bouton and Ronald Bouton and wife Shirley all of Topeka; and his aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother Terry Bouton and his parents.
A memorial service at 2900 SW Plass Suite 100 will be held on April 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to James Bouton, Jr. memorial Fund sent in care of Davidson Funeral Home.
