Dean was born on September 11, 1954 to Harold and Edna (Williams) Conner in Kellogg, Idaho. He graduated from Highland Park High School. Dean worked at Jostens as a journeyman printer where he retired after 35 years.
On July 5, 1980, Dean married Deborah J. Conner (Yannone) in Topeka.
Dean loved to be outdoors any chance he could, alongside his beloved hunting dogs. He will always be remembered for his love of bow hunting, fishing, and his trips to his special place at Lake Perry. In his younger years he enjoyed coaching fastpitch softball for his daughter, and his fishing and hunting trips with his son. He was a family man and loved to be around his grandchildren and friends.
Dean is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; children, Stephanie Conner, Alicia (Kevin) Danjou, and Dean "DJ" E. Conner, Jr.; brothers, Emmett "Frank" Conner and Michael Conner; and grandchildren, Jason Neal and Cameron Conner.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother, Clayton Conner.
Family will greet friends on Saturday, January 28, 2023, 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Parker-Price Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 am.
Per Dean's wishes, cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
