Justin Brett Yingling, 42, of Topeka, passed away on December 4, 2022 at his home in Topeka Kansas. Justin was born on June 12th, 1980 to Brian and Vicki (Lindemuth) Yingling in Topeka, KS. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1998.
Justin was an extreme Madonna fan, attending many of her concerts over the years. He was also an avid reader, often making book recommendations to family members and friends. He loved buying books for friends & family for Christmas. Justin had a larger than life personality! He was very witty and loved to laugh and have a good time. He was always the life of the party and enjoyed playing games and dancing to entertain family & friends. He had strong opinions on politics and other subjects and loved to have spirited debates with others about those topics.
Justin was a friend to many, remaining close with many lifelong friends from high school. He didn't have children of his own so he took a particular interest in his nieces and nephews. He was the "cool" uncle! He enjoyed taking them to movies and buying them gifts for Christmas and birthdays! He also carried a special place in his heart for Henry Galbraith, a friends son whom he helped raise from a young age. Henry considered Justin to be a friend, mentor & father like figure in his life.
Justin was very proud to have recently passed his realtors exam and sold his very first house in 2022! Prior to real estate, he worked many years as café manager at Barnes and Noble and before that he was manager at Topsy's popcorn shop. When he was young he worked at West Ridge 8 movie theaters.
Justin was always great at making new friends but never left out or forgot about his other life long friends from school.
Justin is survived by his father Brian Yingling, his mother Vicki Yingling and his step mother, Paula Yingling; siblings, Brandon (Christa) Yingling, Colton (Brandi) Yingling, Canaan (Sabrina) Yingling, Carrington Parker, Ashlyn Parker, step-sister, Chala (Brian) Roberts-Fife, and step-sister, Kelly Vanderpool; grandmother, Peggy Yingling; and a host of extended family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Larry Yingling, and maternal grandparents, Richard and Marlene Lindemuth.
